We’ve been behind on posting pictures and will have a LOT of pictures to post coming up, but we just HAVE to get a couple pictures of Carleigh’s first Christmas up for all to see! Here are our favorites:

Carleigh got her first plane ride, and all 3 of us went to our first NFL game! Tiffany and I have previously tailgated a Chargers game, but never attended a game. We bought tickets a couple weeks in advance, but at the same time, e-mailed somebody from Craigslist about another set of tickets. He had them listed for over $300 because they were 2nd row 50-yard line tickets, but we weren’t going to pay much. We offered him $150 if nobody took them. A few days before our flight left we heard from him and nobody else had made an offer so they were ours! We promptly sold our nosebleeds and made some of our money back!

The first flight was from San Diego to Dallas, and Carleigh slept almost the whole flight. After our brief stay-over in Dallas we flew into Miami which Carleigh also slept through! Her first flights went really well and at only 3 1/2 months!

We are very lucky to have friends with fun (and expensive) hobbies. Rick (one of Mat’s co-workers) is in the Harbor Island Yacht Club in San Diego. For the 2007 Red Bull Air Races Rick and Ben (Mat’s Boss) rented a boat and went in the harbor to watch the races. This year Rick wanted to “go big”. We got a group of people together and rented a 40′ Beneteau called Havana Daydreamin’.

I was fortunate enough to make it to the Jimmy Buffett concert again this year! Tiffany couldn’t go because she was going dress shopping with Stephanie, Lou couldn’t go because he was coming back from his week long Mazatlan trip, Jon couldn’t go because he was at a bachelor party for Jeremy. All the regular Parrotheads were busy, but I HAD to go. I recruited a Buffett concert virgin, but somebody who is familiar with his music! Ben and I had a blast. I honestly don’t think you can’t not have fun at a Buffett show!
