A Weekend of Firsts
Two weekends ago we went to our neighbors house for a BBQ. After all… Mat can’t pass up an offer of free ribs! (They were DELICIOUS!!!) We took Carleigh with us and since they have a pool we thought we might take her swimming for the first time. At first she was getting sleepy so we wanted to take her in before she actually fell asleep, but we were too late. She slept in the water. We kept moving her around and we were taking pictures, but she slept the WHOLE TIME! It was absolutely hilarious.
Carleigh also got to play RockBand for the first time as well. Daddy paid to get the new Jimmy Buffet songs and Carleigh just loved watching him play the drums. She needed some of Mommy’s help, since (at that time) she still couldn’t grasp and maintain a hold of anything, but she had so much fun!
Of course things are happening fast with Carleigh growing quickly. She’s getting bigger, stronger, more alert, more everything all so fast. She can now grip things, and really enjoys her butterfly vibrating chair! She even grips the rattles and spins the bird when she gets the chance!
